   I am stuggling sooooo hard with this right now. I want to forgive, and think I have, but the forgetting is what trips me up. Then along comes that family member who has hurt me terribly in the past, and wham, there I am again…right back in that pain and hurt. And holding onto that pain is allowing them to control my life and I know that, but what they did takes me to my knees with sheer anger and pain. While I’d love to move far far away from these people, they are in my life. So how do you keep constantly forgiving and moving on? Their pain comes from ignorance and from, as you said, their own experiences, and I seem to be their favorite punching bag…. I’m really struggling with this…. I don’t want to be a victim, but how does it stop hurting and when…?

   Awesome, Chris! And perfectly timed for me!! Love the “epiphany” that I was there every time something happened to me (good and not so good)!! And the wonderful reminder to enjoy the future I am creating and living, rather than the past I have already lived!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
