A Prayer for Self-Esteem
Every day is a gift from God. I am alive today because there is an Intelligence within me that knows how to maintain my body in perfect health. That Intelligence is the Life Force of Spirit, the one Creator. I am made in Its image and likeness. Being made in God’s image, I have innate value and worth.
I am alive because God had a way in which it wanted to express as me. I am a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for God to express Itself through my individual personality and character. God has made me unique and powerful. I am filled with goodness and joy, overflowing with Divine Ideas, ready to experience a wonderful life.
Whatever has happened in my past to limit my view of my worth is over. It is finished and I am finished with it. I let go of my low self-opinion, knowing that it was never the TRUTH of my being. Knowing my worth, I am set free of limitation and now attract all of the good into my life that has been waiting to get in. I am drawn to love and people who have the capacity to love me are attracted to me. Opportunities are finding their way to my door. Prosperity is my new claim and Joy is my new name.
I am permanently free of the old, negative person I used to be. Now my life begins. Now I am ready for the good life I have dreamed was once possible. I can accept it all and so it is.

self-esteem is something i struggle with everyday because i am not anywhere in life doing anything that makes me happy. i am college educated looking for a job as a personal trainer, but yet i am flipping pizzas and cant see the doorway out or the light outside. the lights are dimming and i pity myself and really only have negative thoughts about the present and the future. i am forgetting that each day is a gift because its easier to hide and think negative than to try and be positive. i will try repeating this daily and pray that i can turn myself back around.
